Harwell Q-Day 3.0
—– SAVE THE DATE —–
We are pleased to invite you to join us for this exciting event bringing colleagues and industry experts together to explore opportunities across the Quantum arena.
Building on the success of Q-Day 1.0 and 2.0 in 2021 and 2022 consecutively, this year’s Harwell Q-Day will continue our annual Quantum Celebration, showcasing successes of the Quantum Community on Campus and welcoming others from further afield.
In the space of two years, the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) has come on in leaps and bounds, rapidly building its team and launching more operational activity in advance of completion of the NQCC Facility in 2024.
Following the £30 million investment announcement made in June 2023 towards the commission of the development of quantum computing testbeds in the UK, NQCC is firmly at the centre of the Harwell Cluster development.
Momentum is building in Cluster #Four, with Quantum Technology firmly occupying this role, alongside the Space, Energy, and Life Science clusters.
Q-Day 3.0 takes place at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory Visitor Centre on Tuesday 7 November from 09:30 – 13:30, with talks, refreshments and lunch amongst a table-top exhibition, followed by optional Lab Visits after lunch.
Further details regarding event speakers and lab tours will be announced in due course. Invitations to follow soon.
