As one of the first employees to join the Harwell Campus Management team in 2014, Monika has played a significant role in growing and shaping the business. An early achievement saw her establishing and managing the complex process of land acquisition into the Joint Venture Partnership from the HM Government freeholder.
Leading the completion of refinancing rounds, the most recent to the magnitude of £110million, Monika guides the due diligence process as well as advises the bank on development potential and valuations of existing and newly completed property assets.
Monika leads on negotiations for numerous commercial lettings of multi- and single-let schemes. Simultaneously, managing a range of development proposals and refurbishment schemes, Monika has delivered several from the outset through to completion, including oversight and approval of the post construction fit out schemes, including the recent Oxford Nanopore and Agilent projects.
With previous experience gained in planning whilst at West Oxfordshire District Council, and Chipping Norton Town Council where she was involved in developing the Local Neighbourhood Plan, Monika has a sound knowledge of planning policies and an in-depth understanding of the Local Authority processes and its function.
Monika is a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having qualified in Planning and Development and graduated from Oxford Brookes University where she was awarded the accolade of Best Academic Performance for her BA. In her free time, Monika enjoys dancing Swing (Lindy Hop and Balboa), learning new languages and travelling – in 2019 she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, a personal challenge that she relished.
