The ENGINE Summit is a new one-day forum designed for R&D organisations of all sizes who want to find out more about partnering with the most advanced research capabilities available to UK industry.

The summit is organised around key Industrial Strategy themes: AI, Quantum, Space, Defence, Life Sciences, Clean Energy and Advanced Materials.

ENGINE offers direct access to the expertise and equipment
that drive genuine innovation.

ENGINE will take place in the brand-new CO:LABS building on Harwell Campus, and include multiple concurrent stages with focused facility presentations, industry panels, 1-1 partnering sessions, and keynote addresses from leaders shaping the future of UK science and innovation.

Attendees will gain new insights into accelerating product development, validating new materials, and unlocking breakthroughs that would be impossible within their own laboratories.

Harwell Campus is a research and innovation super campus home to cutting-edge scientific instruments, institutes, businesses, and expert teams. Attendees will hear first-hand from facilities such as Diamond Light Source, ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, the Central Laser Facility, the National Quantum Computing Centre, the Rosalind Franklin Institute, RAL Space, The Faraday Institution, the MRC Mary Lyon Centre, and the Satellite Applications Catapult alongside some of the UK’s most innovative organisations including Rolls Royce, Airbus, Astra Zeneca, Isomorphic Labs, Moderna and Google.

The event will culminate in an evening reception and the official opening of the new CO:LABs building.
