Campus 2040 Symposium: harnessing the power and potential of campus-based science and innovation
From Sydney to Tsinchu, Adlershof to Eindhoven, and Here East to Science Village, world-leading research and innovation campuses are home to diverse communities of start-ups, research institutes, innovation giants and national scientific facilities. They are increasingly where innovation policy meets reality and where the business of science happens. But what challenges are these campuses facing and how should they respond to deliver the biggest possible economic, scientific, and societal benefits?
The Campus 2040 Symposium will bring together leading campuses, policymakers and researchers to dive into the crucial role that science and innovation campuses play in the global science ecosystem, and explore how they can be improved and evolve to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. Chaired by Dr Tim Moonen, the event will mark the launch a new ‘Pioneer Campus 2040’ report by SQW looking at the critical success factors, common challenges and potential futures of eight leading science and innovation campuses.

The Campus 2040 event is by invitation. Please contact event@harwellcampus.com with any queries.
