Getting on the Pitch – a workshop on marketing in Defence and Security
Meet MOD agencies and defence suppliers, hear procurement plans, pitch your offer and network over tea beside Harwell’s HALO artwork.
Date: Thursday 12th November 2026
Time: 09:00 – 15:30
Venue: Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire
This workshop will bring together some of the MOD’s main spending agencies, current contractors and potential new suppliers, providing a flexible opportunity for dialogue, with the support of defence sales experts.
Presenters from the demand side will describe current programmes and procurement strategies, alongside presentations from experts in defence and security bidding.
This will be followed by a “Make Your Pitch” session, where companies signing up will have a two-minute opportunity to present their product and service offering to the defence and security supply chain.
The pitches can be accompanied by a 100-word summary, which we will combine into a catalogue and circulate to MOD and across the RDSC membership.
Anyone interested in pitching should email the team at info@obcrdsc.co.uk
Guests are then invited to walk over to Tech Foundry 3 to enjoy tea and cake around the impressive HALO immersive artwork, created by artist duo “Semiconductor”, which turns real particle collision data from CERN into light, sound and movement.
