Bringing the big screen to the biggest minds
Each year Harwell Campus runs a series of outdoor cinema screenings during the spring and summer. These screenings take place under the stars at DiSH.
This years listings are as followed:
Labyrinth (1986)
Step out of the twists and turns of world changing science discoveries, and in to the twists and turns of large hair, tight trousers and musical melodies from David Bowie with Labyrinth.

Hot Fuzz (2007)
Edgar Wright’s comedy cop caper is just brilliant in the open air, combining huge laughs, blistering action and some of the most quotable lines in movie history. The stellar Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are joined by an outrageous supporting cast of British acting legends, all performing at the top of their game for the greater good (the greater good). Enjoy this modern comedy classic under the stars.

Jurassic Park (1993)
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of its release, we are flexing our scientific muscles by bringing dinosaurs to Harwell Campus. After the discovering some fossilised remains on the cricket pitch we have began the DNA cloning process.

Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
At Harwell we’re all about world leading, ground breaking leaps in the name of science, so join us as we break the laws of quantum and hit Mach 10 in the the jaw-dropping Top Gun: Maverick, blazing onto our open-air big screen.
