Oxford Genome Engineering Forum

16th April 2026, 1:00 – 5:30 pm

Come along to the restarted Oxford Genome Engineering Forum (OGEF) for an engaging afternoon of shared experiences, honest discussion and community building.

The OGEF is an informal meeting designed to strengthen connections between genome engineering users in Oxford. It’s a relaxed space to bring together people working with, developing, or exploring genome engineering technologies.

The aim of OGEF is to reinforce links across the community, share experiences as innovators and early adopters, troubleshoot common challenges, and spark new collaborations.

The theme of this meeting is Driving Innovation through Emerging Technologies – Novelty and Troubleshooting.

We are actively inviting speakers and would love to hear about:

  • Successes and breakthroughs
  • Trials, tribulations, and lesson learned
  • New or emerging genome engineering technologies
  • Practical tips and real-world troubleshooting

Whether you’d like to give a short talk, join the discussion, or simply listen and connect, you’re very welcome. As an incentive, enjoy free pizza to fuel the conversation.

Date: Thursday 16 April

Time: 13:30 – 17:30

Venue: WIMM Seminar Room, John Radcliffe Hospital, OX3 9DU
