Title:
The OPIG Software Suite for Computational Immunotherapy Design
Abstract:
Computational technologies are increasingly streamlining and enhancing biologics drug development. In this talk, I will present a broad overview of the Oxford Protein Informatics Group’s latest work developing databases and software to guide discovery, design, and analysis of antibodies, nanobodies, and T-cell receptors. I will conclude with a perspective on collaborative opportunities and key challenges for the field.
Biography:
Dr Matthew Raybould has an MChem in Chemistry and a DPhil in Immunoinformatics from the University of Oxford. He DPhil focused on the development of 3D-aware computational tools for antibody drug discovery and was supervised by Professor Charlotte Deane at the Department of Statistics.
Matthew continues to work in Statistics as a postdoctoral researcher, performing and supervising computational analyses of immune receptor repertoires and software development to guide immunotherapy/vaccine design. He also co-directs the SABS and ILESLA PhD Programmes at the Oxford Doctoral Training Centre, serving as the lead for industrial PhD collaborations.
