Reducing Oxfordshire Carbon Emissions: Business Roundtable
OxLEP’s Roundtable series is back, this time with a Net Zero theme.
We all know that the Government has asked businesses to cut carbon emissions in half by 2030 and reach Net zero by 2050.
We want Oxfordshire businesses, as leaders of this new era, ahead with their thinking when it comes cutting down on greenhouse gases, so they can be pioneers for reducing environmental damage while also being sustainable business owners!
The discussion topic at our next roundtable will focus on what needs happen from each side: governments and the legislation passed or regulations imposed, and the community of local business owners who are on the front line, feeling the direct affects of a changing business landscape.
We are hosting our next OxLEP Business roundtable on Tuesday 13th September 2022, 9am-12pm, at Satellite Applications Catapult, Harwell Campus.
With this in mind the title for our next roundtable will be “What would need to happen to get every business in Oxfordshire to cut their carbon emissions in half by 2030?”
As per usual places will be limited, so we would recommend booking a place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
To confirm your place, please email email@example.com by Friday 29th July 2022.
