Held at the ECSAT Centre in Harwell, UK, the three-day ‘1st International Symposium on Small Launchers and Spaceports‘ is an inaugural, unique, technical conference being co-organised by the UK Space Agency (Office of the Chief Engineer) and European Space Agency (Directorate of Space Transportation).

The conference focuses on the themes supporting the development and sustainment of the small launcher industry and spaceports, covering:

  • System Design and Qualification
  • Manufacturing, Quality and Productionisation
  • Missions and Operations
  • Lifecycle Sustainability
  • Market and Regulations

The 1st International Symposium on Small Launchers and Spaceports will draw together technically oriented participants from industry, government, academia, and researchers from around the globe. The conference agenda adopts a multifaceted approach which looks to solve key technical challenges in space through the active participation of international colleagues involved in the technical aspects of launch activity.

There is an open call for abstracts which will inform the final programme, a meet the company day – where selected companies will be able to showcase their insights, panel discussions and presentations – deep diving into key topics, networking opportunities, plus an option for delegates to visit the thriving space eco-system nearby to the conference venue.

Due to the technical nature of this event, there will be a two-step registration process which will ensure that those with technical insights, knowledge and understanding will be prioritised to attend.
