Grants, Mentoring and Advice
For many years Harwell has provided a great
deal of support to Spin Outs and SMEs, via
grant funding (e.g. European Space Agency Business Incubator Grants, Catapult support)
Harwell is host to around 200 organisations. We value our community of entrepreneurs and are pleased that we can call on them to help extend the entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting companies coming to the campus.
Mark Evans, co-founder of Adaptix which has a lab in Harwell’s famous Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, and Jonathan Gittos, a serial entrepreneur who works with UK Trade & Industry under their “Global Entrepreneur Programme” (GEP), are examples of the people in the network that we can call on to help us drive the creation of technology-led growth and jobs in our region.
This established network helps companies quickly access the tremendous resources on the Campus and the opportunities and capabilities within the vibrant Thames Valley.
